- I have been buying a few things for summer that are on sale. Then, I will take my second grader shopping first. Then, when he starts school, I will take my kindergartener shopping. That way, it gives me one on one time with each.

- We generally get one or two back-to-school outfits made up of the essentials (jeans and t-shirts), then wait to see what everyone else is wearing. This saves on purchasing a ton of clothes that are suddenly uncool the second week of school!
